Why consider Hydroflask 16oz Tumbler?

“Where has this thing been all my life?” might have been one of the first things I said of this tumbler. For years, as a mother of multiple young children, I have been plagued with the problem of having to reheat my coffee and tea many times over before ever finishing the drink. No more. This tumbler keeps things warm for a very long time.

I have never had a thermos that did such a good job before and I love the fact that I can make my hot drink and accomplish a few tasks on my to-do list and come back to warm tea.

A second benefit behind the insulation is that you don’t have to be concerned with burning your hands while you are holding it.

Dishwasher safe. While many thermoses are dishwasher safe, there can be colour loss or other concerns. Hydroflask uses a special powder coat to makes sure that doesn’t happen.

Not everyone cares about color, but I do. I appreciate that there are colourful options to choose from.

As I dropped the tumbler out of our van on a trip and it hit the ground, the tumbler itself was unmarked, but the plastic of the lid was beat up. This tumbler is made of tough stuff.

Lifetime Warranty. I love it when companies stand behind their products.

To think about:

Because of the excellent insulation, if you don’t add a bit of cool water, you can easily burn your tongue…over and over again if you have my memory. This isn’t a drawback to the thermos, just something to be aware of.

I have the Press-in Lid, which is not ideal for traveling (I have tried and it has spilled multiple times), or if you have any small people jumping around with a propensity to spill things. This could also be remedied by buying one of their closeable or straw lids.

Why consider Hydroflask 12oz Food Jar?

We have been using this food jar to transport both liquid and solid food. We have had no issues with spilling or leaking. That is a big deal.

Cost savings. If you have to be on the road, stopping to pick up something to eat can cost more than you imagine. Taking your own food is a great way to save some money.

The wide mouth is great to eat directly from the jar. Soups, stews, or even ice cream is easy to eat straight from the jar without dirtying any other bowls.

It is easy to clean since it is dishwasher safe. This is important if you find it in the back seat of the car a few days after using it. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

To think about:

The 16oz jar can fit a good amount of soup, but with three sizes to choose from, be realistic about what you will be eating and get the right size.

Conclusion:

Hydroflask offers some great products to make life easier and more enjoyable. The tumbler has been a game changer for me. I love the fact that it holds my drinks at the temperature that I want them for hours. I would highly recommend this tumbler to anyone.

The Food Jar is a great option if you want to be more conscientious of what you are eating, the money you spend on the road, or evade some unnecessary spills.
